- Hand wash your mask in warm soapy water with a soft brush/sponge taking care to cover and rub soap over the whole mask (inside and outside).
- Completely immerse your mask in a registered disinfectant for the manufacturers recommended time (e.g. 0.1% bleach disinfecting solution for 2 minutes).
- Hang the mask out in a sunny place to dry.
- Do not wash the masks in a washing machine as it is likely to damage the filter.
- Do not wash the masks in a dishwasher.
- Check that the material in the filter is still tight and covers the whole filter.
- Please change your filter frequently.
- PLEASE NOTE solvent based cleaners NOT recommended for use.
- Unscrew the filter cap.
- Remove the old filter and discard immediately in the trash.
- Follow the steps as described in “How do I clean my face mask?”.
- Insert new filter into the filter compartment and screw back the filter cap.

It is, nevertheless important to observe basic rules when using these face masks to ensure that they are used optimally:
- The face mask must cover the nose and mouth completely.
- Face masks should not be lowered when speaking, coughing or sneezing.
- Never share your used masks and/or filters with anyone, not even after washing and sterilising the items.
